This is a view from Mexico City's av. Reforma, one of the main avenues in the city. This important avenue was built during the regime of Emperor Maximillian in 1864. President Porfirio Diaz further promoted the avenue which in time has been the most famous in the city. Diaz brought development to Mexico. He likes France, so the Avenue and the buildings at the end (not shown in the postcard) has a very strong French influence.
