Känner du Pippi Långstrump?

POSTCROSSING SWAP

This is "Pippi Långstrump" which means Pippi Long Socks. She is Sweden's favourite character, and according to Karima everybody knows her and has read her books or watched her cartoons when they were kids - and their kids do the same today.

She is a girl with orange braided hair, and known for being a super strong girl. She added that all her stories have chaos in them, but there are also lots of lessons to be learned.

Here is a postcard showing a Swedish Troll. According to Karima, it is a big part of Swedish folklore. They live in isolated places, rocks, caves, or mountains. Normally they look quite old with messy hair, but there are several versions of them.

My first postcard from Sweden

POSTCROSSING SWAP

This is one of the three postcards Karima sent me - my first postcards from Sweden. She wrote that this is her favourite view of Stockholm. The place is really big and has a room inside with flakes of gold. She added that what makes this more interesting is that this is where the Nobel Prize Dinner takes place every year.

She likes the place because of its nice courtyard. In the summer, you can just sit on the grass and enjoy the view of the boats and the Southern Stockholm island.

Karima is an "Interaction" Designer from Stockholm.
