Taneli Eskola is a Finnish photographer, who works on specific areas of the landscape, garden art and Helsinki topics. Eskola is a Doctor of Arts and Aalto University associate professor. His doctoral dissertation in 1998 deals with the landscape, as well as science and art. He has also published a book, The Blue Altai, in which he discusses the geographer JG Granö photo production.
Taneli Eskola seeks out the places where city and nature meet for the book Exploring Helsinki.
