Flensburg Harbour
10 Sept 2014 | From Thomas of Germany
OFFICIAL POSTCROSSING
This is a vintage postcard about 40~60 years old. In a way, the postcard evokes a feeling of nostalgia. The postcard's condition shows that it has an "experienced" aspect - it is yellowish, a depictions of long-ago, and provides a time-travel sensation.
The postacrd shows an harbour in Flensburg, a town in the north of Germany, near the border to Denmark. It is the northernmost town on German mainland. Flensburg offers a nice shopping district with old houses and gardens as well as a variety of museums and churches. The harbour is the hosting place for sailing regatta and events.
