Alarming tales is made up almost entirely of stories taken from previous pre-code Harvey horror comics, only they have been altered, with new dialog in the word balloons and some new art so as to no longer offend the Comic Book Code of Approval. But there were also some new stories as well.
Harvey Comics is an American comic book publisher, founded in New York City by Alfred Harvey in 1941. The Ambassador From Outer Space was inked by artist John Severin and was published in November of 1958.
