OFFICIAL POSTCROSSING

The postcard is version of an artwork by Michael Kupperman for The Believer. It starts with a series of rhyming compounds — Maceface, Spacerace Face, Afro Laceface — and then branches out into merely preposterous compounds (with images to go along with them), like Moby Dickface and Mount Rushmore Face.

Michael Kupperman is a comic artist, illustrator, and writer who lives in New York City. He is the author of three books of comics: Snake'N'Bacon's Cartoon Cabaret, Tales Designed to Thrizzle Volume 1, and Tales Designed to Thrizzle Volume 2.  He also wrote and illustrated the humorous book Mark Twain's Autobiography 1910-2010.

Michael Kupperman goes by the pseudonym P. Revess. His work often dwells in surrealism and absurdity 'played as seriously as possible.'
