The Senado Square
2 June, 2014 | From Dennis of the Philippines
Dennis gave me three 3D postcards from Macau as well as some regular ones. He took a trip to Macau while in Hong Kong. Next week I'll be visiting Hong Kong and Macau. I'm gonna meet a penfriend which makes me excited :)
About the postcard, The Senado Square, or Senate Square, is a public square in the centre of Macau, enclosed by the buildings of the Leal Senado, the General Post Office, and St. Dominic’s Church. The square is paved in the traditional Portuguese pavement. This is one of the four largest squares in Macau.
Senado Square has been Macau's urban centre for centuries, and is still the most popular venue for public events and celebrations today. The square is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Historic Centre of Macau".
