My first postcard from Pakistan

Faisal Mosque in Islamabad

POSTCROSSING SWAP

I was in my Holy Week vacation (April 16~20) when Patrick sent me a message through Postcrossing. He was asking for a postcard-stamp swap. He would like to swap two Pakistani postcards for the 2014 Year of the Horse Philippine stamps. Luckily, I still have copies of those stamps at home.

This is one of the postcards Patrick sent me - a picture of the Shah Faisal Mosque. According to Patrick, it is the largest mosque in Pakistan. It is located in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. It is named after the late King Faisal Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia who supported and financed the project.
