7th May 1936: Photographer George W. Hales asleep in a deckchair, and unaware of the incoming tide at Barry Island, near Cardiff in Wales
The man in the photograph really seems relaxed and calm, as if without a care with his surroundings. He is just there - resting and quietly enjoying the time and the water in his feet.
