This is one of the first postcards I received from the Facebook Postcrossing Group. Tuula sent me two cards inside an envelope. The cards show a Finnish boy wearing a traditional costume, and the other one, a street in Helsinki.
Lapland is the largest and northernmost of the regions of Finland. Its unique nature, diverse activities and fascinating attractions offer unique holiday experiences throughout the year. Lappi is the Finnish name for Lapland. It borders the Region of North Ostrobothnia in the south. It also borders the Gulf of Bothnia, Norrbotten County in Sweden, Finnmark County and Troms County in Norway, and Murmansk Oblast in Russia.
