Nathan shared to me that he has been to the Philippines for a few months back in 2011. He was working with a Christian group helping kids who live around the Smokey Mountain. He added that he loves the Philippines and misses all his friends. He would want to visit again that is why he is trying to learn the Filipino. He even started his postcard with the words "Kumusta" ("how are you?" in English).

Kansas is a U.S. state located in the Midwestern United States. It is named after the Kansa Native American tribe, which inhabited the area. The tribe's name is often said to mean "people of the wind" or "people of the south wind," although this was probably not the term's original meaning. Residents of Kansas are called "Kansans"
