Birthday surprises

My birthday's not until the 21st of April, but today I received this wonderful surprise from my penfriend, Magdalena. A birthday card, a bookmark, and a very special messages.
She wrote this quote about birthdays, "Growing older is mandatory, growing up is optional." And tells me to keep my inner child alive and follow my dreams.
The quote in the front of the bookmark says, "Friendship is a tree, under which you can always find protection." And at the back side, there's a play of words, "pod ktorym" is often used when asking one's flat number
