A letter inside an efuto
19 Mar 2013 | From Taniguchi Masanobu-san of Japan
POSTCROSSING SWAP
Efuto (fuutou, ふうとう | envelope in Japanese) is a decorated and illustrated envelope for letters. Masanobu-san, the sender of this letter, is a writer and efuto maker. I am privileged to have received one of his works.
He wrote that the picture he drew is that of cooking spoons. He added that his wife loves to cook and has a sizeable collection of dishes. She worked as a flight attendant (she's even been to the Philippines) in her younger years, and bought these spoons as souvenirs overseas.
You can see some of his works here.
